Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as age, registration, certification, or licensure
- Obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of employment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to stocking and medication handling
- Must comply with company policies including drug-free workplace rules
- Ability to operate computer systems and pharmacy hardware
- Effective communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold
- Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating supplies, removing damaged or outdated goods, and organizing product displays
- Handle claims and returns, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies for a safe work environment
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues by processing insurance claims, alerting patients to inventory or authorization needs, and coordinating with pharmacists
- Provide patient service by assisting with prescription orders, promoting pharmacy products, resolving member concerns, and maintaining a safe shopping experience
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy software by accurately transcribing prescription details and updating patient records
- Fill prescriptions by retrieving orders, measuring medication, mixing as needed, labeling containers, and ensuring prescription accuracy
- Assist members during prescription pickup by verifying patient information, managing documentation, and using pharmacy systems for sale logging
- Complete work assignments on schedule by collaborating with team members, adhering to policies, and responding to feedback
- Uphold company values of integrity, respect, teamwork, and customer service in daily activities
