Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, or licensure
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to follow company policies and federal, state, and local pharmacy laws
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks related to pharmacy operations
- Strong reading, writing, and basic computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and organizing pharmacy products
- Handle claims and returns, complete required paperwork and documentation
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues including third-party insurance claims
- Assist pharmacists and customers with prescription orders and purchases
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems
- Fill prescriptions by measuring, mixing, and labeling medications
- Provide patient assistance during prescription pickup and ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and improve pharmacy operations
- Adhere to company policies and promote a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence
