Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to handle cash registers and various payment procedures
- Ability to lift and stock merchandise
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Commitment to comply with company policies and ethical standards
- Willingness to work at 23300 Broadway Ave, Oakwood Village, OH location
Job Qualifications
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry
- Ability to operate pharmacy software and related hardware
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy safety and compliance regulations
Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and handling various payment types
- Maintain pharmacy merchandise presentation including stocking, rotating, pricing, and securing merchandise
- Handle claims and returns while utilizing equipment for merchandising functions
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues including insurance claims and patient notifications
- Assist pharmacists by entering prescription data and filling prescriptions accurately
- Provide patient/member service during prescription pick-up, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other policies
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with team members and adhering to company policies and procedures
