Job Requirements
- Meet all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician including minimum age, qualification, registration, certification or licensure
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within nine months of job entry
- Ability to handle cash register operations and various payment methods
- Strong data entry skills for prescription information
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to follow pharmacy and corporate policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and handling different payment types
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and securing pharmacy products
- Ensure pharmacy area compliance with company policies including claims and returns
- Monitor and resolve prescription fulfillment issues such as insurance claims and stock shortages
- Provide member service by assisting with prescription orders and purchases
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software
- Fill prescriptions by measuring and labeling medications and operating dispensing systems
- Assist members during prescription pickup and ensure proper documentation
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks and collaborating with team members
- Comply with company policies and uphold pharmacy and corporate standards
