Job Requirements

  • Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician
  • obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months of employment
  • minimum age as required by state law
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • must comply with company policies and procedures
  • willing to undergo drug-free workplace screening

Job Qualifications

  • Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician
  • obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months
  • experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • effective communication and customer service skills
  • ability to operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
  • knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
  • maintain merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies
  • remove damaged or out-of-date goods and organize product displays
  • handle claims and returns and complete required paperwork
  • monitor prescription fulfillment process including insurance claims and alerts for stock issues
  • assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and process third-party insurance claims
  • provide patient member service by acknowledging members and assisting with prescription orders and purchases
