Job Requirements
- Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician
- obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months of employment
- minimum age as required by state law
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- must comply with company policies and procedures
- willing to undergo drug-free workplace screening
Job Qualifications
- Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician
- obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months
- experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- effective communication and customer service skills
- ability to operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware
- maintain merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies
- remove damaged or out-of-date goods and organize product displays
- handle claims and returns and complete required paperwork
- monitor prescription fulfillment process including insurance claims and alerts for stock issues
- assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and process third-party insurance claims
- provide patient member service by acknowledging members and assisting with prescription orders and purchases
