Job Requirements
- Meets all state requirements to work as a pharmacy technician such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry

- Ability to accurately enter prescription data and use pharmacy software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and safety practices
Job Duties
- Process member purchases by operating cash registers and handling different payment types
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, pricing, and organizing pharmacy products
- Handle claims, returns, and proper documentation according to company policies
- Monitor prescription fulfillment process and resolve issues related to insurance claims and authorizations
- Assist pharmacists in prescription data entry, filling prescriptions, and labeling medication containers
- Provide excellent member service by assisting with prescription orders, product promotions, and resolving member concerns
- Maintain a safe and compliant pharmacy environment by following regulatory laws and company procedures
