Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid PTCB certification or state-required pharmacy technician registration
- Ability to follow pharmacy laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with cash register operations and retail sales preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing pharmacy duties
- Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly
- Reliable and punctual with good organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
- Willingness to complete ongoing training and continuing education.

Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practices, including using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues and answering questions
- Recommends sale items, registers purchases, processes returns and exchanges, and assists customers in locating products
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, takes inventory, checks in and prices merchandise
- Assists pharmacists by filling prescriptions, verifying medicine accuracy, and ensuring proper workflow in pharmacy operations
- Reports prescription errors immediately to pharmacists and complies with company policies and quality programs
- Processes manual claims for third party prescription services and performs clerical duties as assigned
- Supports inventory management including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco
- Constructs and maintains promotional displays and performs product placement and stock rotation
- Provides customer service in the photo area and manages web pick-up orders
- Maintains store appearance and complies with all company policies
- Completes special assignments and training as required.
