Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or retail preferred
- willingness to learn pharmacy operations
- ability to stand for long periods
- basic computer proficiency
- good communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- compliance with state and federal regulations
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in retail or pharmacy settings preferred
- knowledge of pharmacy systems and prescriptions handling
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to operate cash register and POS systems
- PTCB certification or willingness to obtain
- understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- ability to work in a team environment and follow company policies
- basic math skills

Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- assists the pharmacist under direct supervision using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions
- engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- provides fast and efficient service
- recommends items for sale and companion products
- registers customer purchases, processes returns and exchanges, assists customers in locating products
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- assists in filling prescriptions and pharmacy workflow
- reports prescription errors to the pharmacist
- adheres to company policies regarding dispensing and pharmacy errors
- handles calls not requiring pharmacist attention
- processes manual insurance claims
- supports inventory management and asset protection
- ensures compliance with laws on regulated products
- constructs and maintains product displays
- assists in stock rotation and product placement
- operates store systems and equipment
- provides customer service in the photo area
- manages web order pickups
- assists with store cleanliness
- maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special tasks as assigned
