Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- must comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- ability to complete PTCB certification and maintain continuing education
- ability to operate store systems and equipment

Job Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- preferably six months retail experience
- prior Walgreens experience preferred
- good math skills for accurate prescription handling
- good computer skills
- knowledge of store inventory control preferred
- PTCB certification preferred.
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practice including using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions
- engages customers by greeting and offering assistance, resolves customer issues, and ensures positive experience
- recommends items for sale, trade-up, and companion items
- processes transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves, conducts inventory and pricing
- performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy and safety
- reports prescription errors immediately to pharmacist and complies with quality improvement programs
- adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policies
- handles telephone calls including those to physicians
- processes manual claims for third party prescription services
- supports inventory management activities such as ordering and storing pharmaceuticals
- ensures compliance with laws on regulated products like alcohol and tobacco
- constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- assists with proper product placement and stock rotation
- provides customer service in photo area including digital passport photos and promotional sales
- handles web pick-up orders and customer deliveries
- maintains store cleanliness and appearance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful workplace relationships
- completes special assignments and other tasks as directed
- earns and maintains PTCB certification and participates in ongoing healthcare and pharmacy training.
