- six months of experience in a retail environment preferred
- prior work experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- models and shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- registers customer purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items
- assists with over-the-counter products and guides customers to aisles
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policies
- maintains clean and merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise as directed
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with state and local laws on regulated products
- constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- completes resets and revisions
- possesses working knowledge of store systems and equipment
- assists with store maintenance ensuring clean and orderly conditions
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special assignments and other tasks
- attends training and completes personal performance lessons as requested
