Job Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to operate cash register and handle money accurately
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of retail store operations
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Capable of handling inventory tasks and maintaining cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
- Shares customer service best practices with team members
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- Reports prescription errors immediately to pharmacist
- Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- Takes inventory and maintains records
- Checks in and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws
- Constructs and maintains displays including promotional and seasonal merchandise
- Assists with store maintenance and appearance
- Completes special assignments as directed
