- six months of experience in retail preferred
- prior experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and assists customers with product location
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status and reports errors immediately
- maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, checks and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains merchandise displays
- assists with store maintenance and appearance
- complies with company policies and fosters respectful coworker relationships
- completes training and professional development as assigned
