Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to operate cash registers and handle money accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to engage with customers positively
- attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- ability to comply with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends
- physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- models and shares customer service best practices with all team members
- develops strong relationships with most valuable customers
- registers customer purchases, collects cash and distributes change
- processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items
- assists with OTC products and guides customers to correct aisles
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty
- maintains counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays including promotional and seasonal
- completes resets and revisions
- has working knowledge of store systems and equipment
- assists with store maintenance ensuring clean and orderly environment
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special assignments as assigned
- attends training and completes professional development learning.
