Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and patients by offering assistance with products and services and resolving customer issues
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- recommends items for sale, trade-up, and companion items
- assists with OTC products and guides customers to aisles
- operates pharmacy systems for prescription status
- reports prescription errors promptly
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products
- constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- assists with store maintenance ensuring cleanliness and order
- complies with company policies and respects coworkers
- completes special assignments and tasks as assigned
- attends training and completes assigned personal and professional learning modules
