- preferred six months of retail experience
- preferred prior work experience with Walgreens
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to operate store systems and equipment
- knowledge of customer service best practices
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops relationships with valuable customers
- processes cash transactions including voids, returns, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and assists customers with product locations
- operates pharmacy systems for prescription status
- reports prescription errors to the pharmacist
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains promotional displays
- assists with store maintenance
- completes special assignments as directed
