- preferred six months of experience in a retail environment
- prior work experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items and trade-up or companion products
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist
- maintains clean, well merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws on regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays
- assists with store maintenance
- complies with company policies
- completes special assignments as assigned
- attends training and completes required programs
