Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours
- Ability to engage customers effectively
- Ability to handle cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain compliance with company policies
- Ability to perform store maintenance tasks
- Attention to detail in inventory and merchandising
- Follow asset protection and loss prevention procedures
- Report prescription errors immediately
- Attend and complete assigned training
- Demonstrate respectful and cooperative behavior with coworkers
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Prefer six months of retail experience
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate cash registers and pharmacy systems
- Knowledge of store policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain organized and clean work areas
- Willingness to learn and complete training assignments
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions
- Models and shares customer service best practices
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Registers purchases, processes returns and exchanges
- Recommends products and assists customers in locating items
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist
- Maintains clean and organized counters and shelves
- Takes inventory and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- Assists with store maintenance to ensure neat appearance
- Completes special assignments as directed
- Attends training and completes personal development learning
