Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to operate cash register and handle cash accurately
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic understanding of retail systems and merchandise handling
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong customer service orientation
- adherence to company policies and procedures
- willingness to complete mandatory training
- ability to maintain clean and organized work environment

Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides efficient checkout service
- engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- shares customer service best practices with team members
- develops strong relationships with customers
- processes cash transactions including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items for sale and assists with product selection
- operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- assists with store maintenance and appearance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- completes special assignments as assigned
- attends training and completes personal development tasks
