- Experience in retail environment preferred
- Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers by greeting them and offering product and service assistance
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
- Shares customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits with team members
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Registers customer purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist immediately
- Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised
- Takes inventory and maintains records
- Checks in and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains displays
- Completes resets and revisions
- Assists with store maintenance
- Complies with company policies and maintains coworker relationships
- Completes special assignments
- Attends training and completes assigned personal development learning
