- six months of experience in retail environment preferred
- prior experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service
- engages customers by greeting and offering assistance
- resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experiences
- models and shares customer service best practices
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- processes transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items and assists with OTC products
- operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status
- reports prescription errors to pharmacist
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- takes inventory and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays
- assists with store maintenance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful relationships
- completes special assignments as assigned
- attends training and completes personal development programs
