Job Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate cash register and pharmacy systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Commitment to customer service excellence
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Previous work experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
- Models customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Registers customer purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist immediately
- Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- Checks in and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains displays including promotional and seasonal items
- Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment
- Assists with store maintenance and appearance
- Complies with company policies and maintains respectful relationships
- Completes special assignments as assigned
- Attends training and completes PPLs as requested
