Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering product assistance
- resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experiences
- models and shares customer service best practices and Walgreens service traits with team members
- develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- registers purchases and handles cash, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- recommends items and assists with OTC products
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- reports prescription errors immediately to pharmacist
- keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised
- takes inventory and maintains records
- checks in and prices merchandise
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws on regulated products
- constructs and maintains promotional displays
- has working knowledge of store systems and equipment
- assists with store maintenance for cleanliness and appearance
- complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relations
- completes special assignments as assigned
