Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Prefer six months experience in a retail environment
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and deliver excellent customer service
- Basic computer and cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience
- Models and shares customer service best practices including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits
- Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers
- Registers purchases, collects cash, processes voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- Operates pharmacy systems to check prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policies
- Maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- Takes inventory and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains promotional and seasonal displays
- Uses store systems and equipment
- Assists with store maintenance
- Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- Completes special assignments as directed
- Attends training and completes assigned programs
