Job Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
six months of experience in retail environment preferred
prior work experience with Walgreens preferred

Job Duties

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
engages customers and patients by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive experience
models and shares customer service best practices with team members
develops strong relationships with valuable customers
registers customer purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
recommends items for sale and trade-up/companion products
assists with OTC products and takes customers to aisles
operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
reports prescription errors to pharmacist
keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised
takes inventory and maintains records
checks in and prices merchandise
implements asset protection procedures
ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
constructs and maintains displays
assists with store maintenance
complies with company policies and procedures
completes special assignments
