Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure positive customer experience
- Shares customer service best practices with team members
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Registers customer purchases, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to quality policies
- Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves
- Takes inventory and maintains records
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains displays
- Assists with store maintenance and looks orderly
- Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- Completes special assignments as assigned
- Attends training and completes personal development programs
