Job Qualifications
- Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred
- prior work experience with Walgreens preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal skills
- basic knowledge of store systems and pharmacy operations
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- engages customers and offers assistance with products and services
- resolves customer issues and answers questions
- recommends items for sale and trade-up or companion items
- operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status and reports errors
- maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- implements asset protection procedures
- ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- constructs and maintains displays
- assists with store maintenance
- attends training and completes assigned learning modules
