- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Previous work experience with Walgreens preferred
Job Duties
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience
- Shares customer service best practices with team members
- Develops strong relationships with valuable customers
- Registers customer purchases, handles cash and transactions including voids, returns, and exchanges
- Recommends items and assists with product selection
- Operates pharmacy systems to obtain prescription status
- Reports prescription errors to pharmacist and complies with quality policies
- Maintains clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves
- Takes inventory and prices merchandise
- Implements asset protection procedures
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products
- Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets
- Uses store systems and equipment
- Assists with store maintenance
- Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relationships
- Completes special assignments and tasks as assigned
- Attends training and completes assigned learning modules
