Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in cooking/culinary arts/related field preferred
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation/cooking techniques
  • strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • availability and scheduling flexibility is a must
  • ability to provide customer service while multitasking is a must
  • follow standard recipes and direction to prepare food
  • memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
  • adhere to special requests/special diet orders
  • plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
  • operate standard commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all sanitation production regulations
