Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred
  • Prior leadership experience in retail or similar environment
  • Experience in pet care or animal handling highly desired
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Commitment to company values and customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of retail leadership or customer-focused experience
  • Full-time availability with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Participates in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and coaching associates
  • Facilitates associate development including reviews, recognition, and succession planning
  • Partners with store leadership on scheduling and Profit and Loss management
  • Addresses associate complaints and grievances
  • Prioritizes, delegates, and validates daily tasks for associates
  • Leads and directs associates as Leader on Duty
  • Ensures reservations comply with policies and manages check-in process
  • Oversees pet medication administration and health monitoring
  • Coordinates in-store events and marketing
  • Maintains hotel cleanliness and safety standards
  • Responds to pet parent concerns and promotes exceptional service
  • Upholds store standards and ensures policy compliance
  • Supports safety incident follow-up and monthly reporting
  • Manages maintenance of PetsHotel equipment
  • Reviews pet parent service surveys and implements improvements
