Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience in retail or customer service
- Full-time availability required
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
- Must be over 18 years old
- Able to handle exposure to animals and moderate noise levels
- Compliance with company policies and safety procedures

Job Duties
- Participates in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and coaching associates
- Facilitates associate development through reviews, recognition, training, onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning
- Partners with store leadership on scheduling and achieving profit and loss goals
- Addresses and administers associate complaints and grievances
- Prioritizes, delegates, and validates daily tasks to meet business and pet parent needs
- Leads as the Leader on Duty and communicates company priorities
- Recognizes and celebrates associate engagement
- Ensures reservations comply with policies and manages check-in process
- Administers medications and monitors pet health
- Acts immediately on identifying sick or injured pets
- Coordinates in-store events and marketing initiatives
- Maintains pet healthcare and facility cleanliness
- Ensures a safe environment for associates, pets, and pet parents
- Supports safety incident follow-up and reporting
- Oversees maintenance of PetsHotel equipment
- Reviews pet parent service surveys and takes appropriate actions
- Upholds store standards and compliance with company policies and code of ethics
