Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in retail or similar environment
- Ability to work full time with flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with computer applications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more with assistance
- Willingness to work in a pet-friendly and sometimes noisy environment.
Job Qualifications
- 3 plus years of retail leadership or customer-focused experience
- Full-time availability with flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Duties
- Participates in recruiting interviewing hiring and coaching associates
- Facilitates associate development including reviews recognition training onboarding and mentoring
- Partners with leadership on scheduling and profit and loss management
- Addresses and administers associate complaints and grievances
- Delegates tasks and validates daily completion to meet business and pet parent needs
- Leads and directs associates as Leader on Duty
- Ensures pet boarding reservations comply with policies and manages check-in processes
- Oversees medication administration and pet health monitoring
- Coordinates marketing events related to hotel and pet services
- Maintains facility cleanliness and safety standards
- Manages pet parent communications and resolves concerns
- Supports store opening and closing procedures
- Recommends merchandise and services to customers
- Investigates and resolves equipment maintenance issues
- Reviews customer feedback and implements improvements
- Ensures compliance with company policies and ethical standards
- Manages safety incidents and conducts monthly safety reporting.
