Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food safety and TIPS certifications required
  • Valid California driver's license with current DMV printout
  • Polished manners and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle luggage safely

  • Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or valet services preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet the guests and check them in/out of their rooms
  • Bartend and host nightly cocktail receptions
  • Prepare and deliver continental breakfast in the morning
  • Walk through entire property and remove any dirty dishes or ashtrays
  • Check fireplaces and add wood when necessary
  • Coordinate guests' deliveries
  • Assist guests with storage, loading, unloading and safe handling of luggage
  • Move guest luggage to and from room
  • Direct parking and traffic at front entrance, to ensure safety and security
  • Park and retrieve guests' cars
  • Use guests' names and recognize return guests, whenever possible
  • Answer questions and provide information on daily functions taking place at the resort
  • Assist Manager on Duty in an emergency, such as directing guests to evacuation areas
  • Make deliveries to rooms, including packages, laundry and messages
  • Deliver ice to room at check-in
  • Provide information on all local activities, attractions, restaurants and lounges
  • Assist guests with all aspects of desk service, including fax operations, package sending and receiving procedures, car rental procedures and proper posting procedures
  • Transport guests between properties and off property to local destinations, such as the airport
  • Pick-up and deliver items as directed
  • Maintain cars in a clean and well serviced manner
  • Take cars to be washed and filled with gas
  • Report mechanical problems immediately
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures
