Job Requirements

  • Must be outgoing and comfortable working in other people's kitchens
  • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
  • Must own a cell phone
  • Must be comfortable attaching and emailing documents
  • Must be a talented multi-tasker and able to work quickly
  • Must be well-versed in many different ethnic cuisines
  • Must be knowledgeable of most special diets

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Proven experience in preparing a wide range of ethnic cuisines
  • Knowledgeable in special diets and nutritional restrictions
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare a wide variety of meals according to client preferences and dietary restrictions
  • Work in clients' homes adapting to different kitchen environments
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure punctuality for appointments
  • Maintain communication with clients via phone and email including sending documents
  • Apply knowledge of various ethnic cuisines to craft diverse menus
  • Adhere to ServSafe food safety standards and certification requirements
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality meal preparation
