Job Requirements

  • Must have verifiable experience through references
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be physically able to perform duties
  • Must exhibit mature, responsible behavior
  • Must understand patient confidentiality
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to follow direction and report client condition changes accurately
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Physical ability to perform caregiving duties
  • Demonstrated mature and responsible behavior
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Capability to follow directions and report client condition changes
  • Reliable transportation to and from assignments
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Planning and preparing meals according to client dietary requirements
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping
  • Providing companionship and stimulation including reading and walks
  • Accompanying clients to doctors or other appointments
  • Grocery shopping and running errands as needed
  • Assisting with personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Reminding clients to take medication at appropriate times
