Job Requirements
- Must have verifiable caregiving experience
- must complete agency employment and certification process
- must be at least 18 years old
- physically capable of performing duties
- must exhibit mature and responsible behavior
- must understand and maintain patient confidentiality
- must be literate in English
- must be able to follow instructions and report changes
- must have reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Planning and preparing meals according to client dietary requirements
- maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry
- providing companionship and stimulation for clients including reading, walking, and accompanying to appointments
- grocery shopping and running errands as needed
- performing other housekeeping tasks as outlined in care plans
- participating in in-service education programs
- house sitting and pet sitting services
- recording pertinent client care information
- reminding clients to take medication on schedule
- assisting with exercises and personal care tasks including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- assisting with ambulation and routine bodily functions such as toileting
