Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)
- Current TB test within 90 days of start date
- Legal authorization to work in the USA
- Ability to safely transfer and assist clients
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and auto insurance if driving clients
- Physical capability to perform caregiving duties
- Ability to communicate in English effectively
- Must pass FBI background check via Livescan fingerprints
Job Qualifications
- Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)
- TB test within 90 days of start
- Ability to legally work in the USA
- Physical capability to perform all job functions
- Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients
- Ability to transfer a patient
- Ability to speak, write, and read English
Job Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding, meal preparation, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction
- Be oriented and well trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care
- Meal prep and cooking
- Assist clients with light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc.)
- Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etc.
