Job Requirements

  • ability to CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Indiana Public Passengers Chauffeurs License
  • NYSCA Clinician Certification
  • high school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • assist in development, planning, directing, implementation and coordinating a wide variety of recreational events
  • follow established policies and procedures
  • complete reports, inspections, and evaluations based on established guidelines
  • use software and technology platforms to organize, document, track, and monitor work
  • deliver excellent customer service and establish professional rapport with park users
  • initiate new sports, aquatics, and recreation programs
  • support and assist customers during activities such as sports, recreational, arts, fitness, and aquatic programs
  • schedule classes and assist in planning
  • supervise and coordinate recreational programs
  • collect, deposit, and secure park funds
  • attend meetings or training sessions
  • supervise the use of supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • set up and break down for activities and events
  • enforce rules and regulations
  • assist with field and sports equipment maintenance
  • maintain cleanliness and general appearance of the work site
  • open and close facilities following security measures
  • maintain confidentiality at all times
