Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in a wet and cold environment
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, bailers, and other heavy machinery

Job Duties
- follow department procedures and maximize sales by preparing, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising product
- prepare, package, weigh, and price products for sale
- monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper product rotation
- ensure cases and shelves are clean and well-stocked
- complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as required
- assist with periodic inventory checks
- arrive to workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques
- answer phones and pages promptly and courteously
- follow and comply, or ensure compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain, or ensure maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- maintain equipment in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- perform other duties as assigned by store or operational leadership
