Job Requirements

  • Graduated from high school or equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience in hospital or hospitality setting
  • Open availability to work various hours including days, nights, and weekends with short notice
  • Knowledge of hospital confidentiality policies
  • Ability to apply customer service techniques effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically capable of safely using standard office equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Equivalent to graduation from high school
  • One year of customer service experience in a hospital or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of hospital directory and local area
  • Familiarity with hospital confidentiality policies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relationships with staff and patients
  • Skillful in using office equipment such as phones, copiers and facsimiles

Job Duties

  • Create a safe and welcoming environment for hospital patients, visitors, and family members
  • Acknowledge, greet and assist visitors courteously and professionally
  • Act as liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Seek satisfactory and expedited solutions to complaints, problems, or special needs
  • Provide clear communication to patients and visitors to enhance their hospital experience
  • Maintain knowledge of hospital policies, confidentiality, and emergency response procedures
  • Use general office equipment effectively to support daily operations
