Job Requirements
- Graduated from high school or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience in hospital or hospitality setting
- Open availability to work various hours including days, nights, and weekends with short notice
- Knowledge of hospital confidentiality policies
- Ability to apply customer service techniques effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically capable of safely using standard office equipment
Job Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from high school
- One year of customer service experience in a hospital or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of hospital directory and local area
- Familiarity with hospital confidentiality policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relationships with staff and patients
- Skillful in using office equipment such as phones, copiers and facsimiles
Job Duties
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for hospital patients, visitors, and family members
- Acknowledge, greet and assist visitors courteously and professionally
- Act as liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff
- Seek satisfactory and expedited solutions to complaints, problems, or special needs
- Provide clear communication to patients and visitors to enhance their hospital experience
- Maintain knowledge of hospital policies, confidentiality, and emergency response procedures
- Use general office equipment effectively to support daily operations
