Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Performs support duties
- empties full soiled linen bags and replaces with clean bags
- makes unoccupied beds and assists with occupied beds
- stocks supplies in patient rooms and assigned areas
- cleans and disinfects patient rooms, isolation rooms, offices, exam rooms, lavatories, lounges, utility rooms, and common areas
- cleans and disinfects hospital equipment
- completes emergency discharge cleaning and bed making
- operates cleaning equipment including buffers, burnishers, automatic scrubbers, mops, and vacuums
- removes trash, hazardous materials, and medical waste according to protocols
- transports patients throughout the hospital
- assists with lifting, moving, and positioning patients
- sets up and breaks down furniture for meetings
- maintains proper attendance and punctuality
- attends mandatory inservice training and maintains competency standards
