Job Duties
- Maintain a working knowledge of culinary methods related to ingredient preparation and recipe execution
- Assist Executive Chef with meal preparation as assigned
- May assist in procurement of food inventory and supplies
- Properly label and store food items in accordance with safe storage standards
- Understand the operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as food processors, dishwashers, and convection ovens
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including floors
- Responsible for creation and preparation of baked food items, breads, desserts
- Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment and work according to schedule planned by the Executive Chef
