Job Duties

  • Travels through assigned territory to solicit orders and new business
  • prepares sales contracts and interfaces with customers
  • leads contract negotiations and develops marketing plans
  • operates and maintains route vehicle safely
  • coordinates and leads sales meetings
  • ensures proper rotation of products as per supplier requirements
  • establishes good customer rapport
  • properly accounts for company assets
  • solicits new business through product demonstration and marketing
  • arranges products and places signage
  • transfers products for display compliance
  • orders product for accounts to prevent stockouts
  • creates or follows display ideas
  • constructs display aids from POS materials
  • coordinates product delivery and pickups
  • prepares business reports and expense accounts
  • wears company safety equipment
  • performs supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplining, and problem resolution
  • performs other duties as assigned
