Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, or related field
  • 7-10 plus years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven consulting or operational background with a top-tier strategy firm
  • Flexibility to travel up to 80 percent of the time
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with private equity clients or industries related to aerospace, defense, aviation and space preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 7-10 plus years of relevant work experience
  • Previous professional consulting or operations experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm required
  • Depth in airlines and aviation preferred with cross aerospace, defense and aviation space experience ideal
  • Recent project leadership experience
  • Experience working with private equity relationships a plus, especially related to aerospace, defense, aviation and space
  • Strong written, oral, and analytical skills
  • Sharp data analytics skills including data science, business intelligence, and data visualization
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Structured project management experience including time, team, and workstream management
  • Initiative, drive, and critical thinking skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for developing new skill sets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement to develop new capabilities and client relationships
  • Ability to deliver results on-time and on-quality under time pressure
  • Flexible, creative thinking

Job Duties

  • Leading teams through time-sensitive projects by structuring a performance improvement plan and managing the process through completion
  • Synthesizing meaningful insights from data, facts, and discussions with clients
  • Developing findings and making strategic recommendations
  • Working with clients directly to implement strategic and operational recommendations
  • Managing diverse aviation and aerospace projects including flight operations, maintenance repair and overhaul, procurement, resource planning, network planning, revenue management, sales, IT and digital initiatives, fleet and financial planning
  • Leading merger integration and cost reduction efforts within the aerospace, defense, and aviation sectors
