Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • minimum 10 years of professional experience in consulting or operations
  • strong written, oral, and analytical communication skills
  • advanced proficiency in data analytics including data science, business intelligence, and visualization
  • excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • project management skills including team and time management
  • demonstrated initiative and drive
  • strong critical thinking abilities
  • ability to deliver quality results under pressure
  • flexible and creative thinking
  • proven client relationship building skills
  • willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required due to client requirements related to aerospace and defense
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • previous professional consulting or operations experience at a recognized strategy consulting firm required
  • depth of experience in aerospace, defense, or aviation preferred
  • recent leadership experience on projects
  • experience working with private equity or PE relationships is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead teams through time-sensitive projects by structuring performance improvement plans and managing execution
  • synthesize insights from data, facts, and client discussions
  • develop findings and strategic recommendations
  • work directly with clients to implement strategic and operational initiatives
  • enhance direct and indirect cost transparency
  • manage margin, pricing, and product rationalization
  • optimize sales and marketing effectiveness including processes and incentives
  • oversee sales and operations planning
  • improve sourcing and global supply chain functions
  • drive operations management and productivity improvements
  • refine organizational structure and effectiveness
  • lead process improvement initiatives
  • reduce selling, general and administrative costs
  • manage working capital and cash flow effectively
