Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a union environment required
  • Strong understanding of New York wage and hour laws
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Manager experience
  • A practical, people-first approach with sound judgment and discretion
  • Comfort supporting fast-moving operations such as hospitality, retail, or food service
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in a highly interactive environment

Job Duties

  • Act as a hands-on HR partner to field leadership and airport operations
  • Support employee relations, performance conversations, and leader coaching
  • Work within a unionized environment, partnering thoughtfully on labor-related matters
  • Guide compliance with New York wage and hour laws and employment practices
  • Collaborate with Regional and Corporate People teams on initiatives and programs
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and engagement efforts that strengthen the team
