Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • certified or trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • certified or trained in culinary and front-of-house operations
  • certified food handler

Job Duties

  • certified or trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach or verify on a daily basis
  • certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
  • effectively communicates through live conversations, email, etc., to team members, management, and regional support office
  • acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction by exhibiting desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards
  • effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching, delegation, and verification
  • effectively follows and executes shift responsibilities including admin, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory, and ordering
  • supports onboarding and training processes including scheduling
  • effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
  • handles guest relations and coaches team to improve guest experience
  • promptly escalates any employee relations concerns to general manager
  • attends all store manager meetings
  • executes other tasks or duties as assigned
