Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified in culinary and front-of-house operations
- Certified food handler
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to reach bend balance and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified in culinary and front-of-house operations
- Certified food handler
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage cash handling and administrative tasks
- Comfortable leading shifts in absence of management
- Ability to train and coach team members effectively
Job Duties
- Certified trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicates through live conversations email etc to team members management and RSO
- Acts as a role model in behaviors dress and guest interaction exhibits desired Pei Wei behaviors and standards and is a role model for dress behavior and interaction with guests and team members
- Effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching delegation and verification
- Effectively follows executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist including admin reporting scheduling SMG scores cash handling opening closing duties inventory ordering etc
- Effectively supports the onboarding training process to include scheduling
- Effectively performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Effectively handles guest relations and can coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
- Promptly escalates any employee relations concerns to the general manager
- Attends all store manager meetings
- Effectively executes other tasks duties as assigned
