Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Ability to work all aspects of restaurant operations from guest service to kitchen execution
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Leadership skills with ability to coach and motivate team members
- Knowledge of food safety and health procedures certified
- Capacity to use back-office systems for administrative tasks
- Ability to maintain professionalism in dress and behavior
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach or verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicate through live conversations, email, etc., to team members, management, and regional support office
- Act as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction
- Effectively lead the team during the shift through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Follow and execute shift responsibilities as outlined on manager checklist including administrative tasks, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory and ordering
- Support the onboarding and training process including scheduling
- Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handle guest relations and coach team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
- Promptly escalate any employee relations concerns to the general manager
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
