Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
  • Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
  • Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
  • Ability to bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
  • Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certified in culinary and front-of-the-house operations
  • Certified food handler
  • Experience leading and coaching team members
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple operational tasks
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of cash handling and inventory procedures

Job Duties

  • Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties and coach team members daily
  • Certified food handler and effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional support office
  • Act as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction, exhibiting desired company standards
  • Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
  • Execute shift responsibilities as outlined in the manager checklist including admin, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory and ordering
  • Support onboarding and training processes including scheduling
  • Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
  • Handle guest relations and coach team to improve guest experience
  • Escalate employee relations concerns promptly to general manager
  • Attend all store manager meetings
  • Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
