Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months shift lead experience for external candidates
- Four months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Ability to stand and walk for four to ten hours per shift
- Ability to bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified in culinary and front-of-the-house operations
- Certified food handler
- Experience leading and coaching team members
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational tasks
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cash handling and inventory procedures
Job Duties
- Certified and trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and perform duties and coach team members daily
- Certified food handler and effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and regional support office
- Act as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction, exhibiting desired company standards
- Lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Execute shift responsibilities as outlined in the manager checklist including admin, reporting, scheduling, cash handling, opening and closing duties, inventory and ordering
- Support onboarding and training processes including scheduling
- Perform cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handle guest relations and coach team to improve guest experience
- Escalate employee relations concerns promptly to general manager
- Attend all store manager meetings
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned
