Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months shift lead experience for external candidates
- 4 months Pei Wei experience for internal candidates
- Certified food handler preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
- Ability to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
- Ability to see at 20/20 vision with correction
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests
- Ability to lead and coach a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Certified/trained in culinary and front-of-the-house operations and can perform duties and coach/verify on a daily basis
- Certified food handler and can effectively teach and execute company safety and health procedures
- Effectively communicates through live conversations, email, etc. to team members, management, and Regional Support Office
- Acts as a role model in behaviors, dress, and guest interaction exhibiting desired Pei Wei standards
- Effectively leads the team during the shift through coaching, delegation, and verification
- Executes shift responsibilities as outlined on mod checklist including administration, reporting, scheduling, SMG scores, cash handling, opening/closing duties, inventory/ordering
- Supports the onboarding and training process including scheduling
- Performs cash handling procedures according to company policies
- Handles guest relations and coaches team on behaviors to improve the guest experience
- Escalates any employee relations concerns to the general manager promptly
- Attends all store manager meetings
- Executes other tasks and duties as assigned
